Many patients give us a call to schedule the appointment but you can also message us on our website and we will reach out to you. Our friendly front desk team will collect the personal and insurance information from you and give you a new patient appointment at your preference. After that, you will receive the New Patient Registration form and Health History Forms sent to you in text or email, so you can fill them out from the comfort of your home. You will also appointment confirmation and reminder before your appointment date.

When you arrive at the practice at the time of your appointment, you’ll be greeted warmly by our front desk team. They will confirm that all of the necessary paperwork is completed. You’ll then be brought to the back of the office by our dental assistant who will ask you about your dental concerns and take X-rays. After that, Dr. Madeleine Zhao will come in for a comprehensive dental examination. Depending on her findings, she will explain to you what will be done next. Most patients will receive a regular dental cleaning at the appointment and if treatment is recommended, we will give you a breakdown of the cost along with the information on insurance coverage, membership savings plan, and in-house financing options as applicable. Sometimes if the treatment is minor and we have time, we will complete the treatment at the same visit for you. At the end of the appointment, you or your child can expect a goody bag with oral hygiene supplies. We have a treasure box full of fun toys for the small children. We usually tell them to go hunt in the box and they all like it very much!

At Genesis Dental, we want to make payment for dental care easy, simple, and affordable.  That’s why we accept 4 ways of payment:

If you have a PPO plan or Medicare plan ( people over age 65 or have a disability ), we accept it. If you have Children’s Medicaid plan, eg. Dentaquest, MCNA, and UHC, we accept it. If you don’t have dental insurance, new patient and emergency pt specials and discounts offer significant cost reductions to cash-paying patients. If your treatment plan is of a large amount and you would like to consider a payment plan, the 3rd party financing we offer will provide an interest-free payment plan for you to help make payment for the treatment affordable.

At Genesis Dental, we accept 3 Medicaid Children’s Plans: Dentalquest, MCNA, and UHC. The state provides dental coverage to children enrolled in Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). This allows children to get the care they need to keep their smile healthy. Medicaid provides coverage for services that are necessary to prevent oral disease or to promote oral health and function. Your child can get the comprehensive care they need to keep their teeth and gums healthy. Routine appointments with your dentist ensure the health and development of your child’s smile as they grow.

If you and your loved ones don’t currently have dental insurance coverage, we got you covered, we offer 3 specials and a 10% discount to help make dental care affordable so you and your family stay on the path of great oral health:
$160 new patient special which includes exam, 4 x-rays, and regular cleaning, $260 new patient special which includes exam, a full mouth series x-rays, and regular cleaning; $60 emergency patient special; 10% off any other services at our office.
